Heart Murmur

A 45 year female presents to her primary care doctor for a annual health visit. Her doctor notices she has a diastolic heart murmur. It is accompanied by an opening snap after S2 following by the decrescendo-crescendo diastolic murmur. The murmur is louder during a valsalva maneuver and is best heard at the Apex. She otherwise does not have any complaints, no infectious symptoms, no chest pain or shortness of breath.


What is the most likely cause of this patient's murmur?
