25 year old pregnant female with bleeding

A 25year old female G1P0, 11weeks pregnant (dating confirmed by ultrasound), presents to her OBGYN’s office for vaginal bleeding. She initially had spotting several hours ago but reports the bleeding has become heavier for approximately 1-2 hours now. She denies cramping or trauma to the abdomen. On a bimanual exam her cervical os is dilated. There is rupture of membranes. The patient states she has not expelled any fetal tissue.
